Rope sewn on canvas
“When I gaze upon my art through the lens of Human Knowledge,
a ‘thread of Ariadne’ stretching from Mesopotamian bas-relief to the contemporary gesture: if the work is illuminated from the front, the bas-relief of the rope sewn onto canvas satisfies and satiates my Assyrian and Egyptian passion,
as well as the dancer’s medium their body;
the curve of the rope sewn onto canvas is the curve of my dancing arm.
With BACKLIGHTING: the epiphany of the Soul,
a stained-glass window revealing Being!
As well as the atom of the brushstroke that explains my dancing gesture:
MY DANCED GESTURE SHINES THROUGH THE CANVAS, REVEALING THE ALMA!
