Art, Vision and New Possibilities
The collaboration between Dalí Universe, Lart Universe and EY Luxembourg brings one of the most recognisable images from Salvador Dalí’s surrealist universe to Luxembourg’s urban landscape. The monumental Triumphant Elephant, from the Beniamino Levi Collection, Dalí Universe, stands in front of EY Luxembourg’s headquarters, creating a meeting point between art, business and everyday life.
Located at 31 rue Philippe II, Luxembourg, Lart Universe Gallery connects this initiativ with the city’s artistic life, extending the encounter with art beyond the gallery walls and into a shared urban setting.
EY is a leading international professional services organisation, working across assurance, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions. Its purpose, expressed through “Building a better working world”, centres on building trust and creating lasting value for businesses, people and society.
The ability to look beyond the present and imagine new possibilities offers a shared perspective through which to understand this collaboration. The encounter with Lart Universe Gallery and Dalí Universe connects the professional world with the power of artistic imagination, challenging familiar ways of seeing and opening up unexpected perspectives.
In Triumphant Elephant, this ambition takes shape through an impossible balance. The animal’s powerful body rises on slender, elongated legs, while a winged figure holding a trumpet crowns its upward movement. Strength meets lightness, matter reaches towards dreams, and the trumpet announces triumph.
A symbol of success, aspiration and achievement, the sculpture can be read as a metaphor for the ability to turn a vision into reality. Its presence in front of EY Luxembourg invites reflection on the role of intuition, courage and creativity in every journey of growth.
The installation makes art part of the everyday experience of those who work in, visit or pass through this setting, bringing Dalí’s vision beyond traditional exhibition spaces.
The sculpture’s transport and installation were carried out by Megalift S.A. and Tranelux, whose expertise made the arrival and positioning of this monumental work possible.
