I hold a deep reverence for the sacredness of the human experience. Art serves as a canvas for transforming my curiosity into a shareable form, translating scientific inquisitiveness into visual expressions to give shape to the formless.”

Born in 1972 in Vienna to Austrian and Turkish heritage, Alea Pinar Du Pre has been profoundly influenced by the artists of Künstlerhaus and Wiener Werkstätte. A highly talented autodidact, she embarked on her artistic journey at a young age. By six, she had created approximately 500 hand-drawn paper dolls, and by the age of 13, she had already delved into oil color figures and pioneered an oil color printing technique. From 1995 to 2005, Du Pre produced a series of cubistic oil paintings portraying street scenes in Istanbul.
